Tim Neal, MS, LAT, ATC
Tim Neal has practiced as a licensed Athletic Trainer since 2010 working with a variety of athletes from middle school to professional leagues. He graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce receiving a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Master of Science in Kinesiology, Health, and Sports Studies. He is also a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and state licensed in Texas to practice athletic training (LAT). He began his career as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Texas A&M-Commerce. His primary duties were with football, cheer, and post surgical rehab at Hulsey Therapy Services. He has vast experience in the Arena Football League (AFL), the Indoor Football League (IFL), physical therapy, and has served as an athletic trainer at 2 different high schools. He started Kinetix Fitness & Sports Medicine in 2014 to pursue his vision of bringing fitness and sports medicine together, while assisting clients in bypassing the hoops of healthcare insurance.
Dustan Thrift MS, LAT, ATC, CES
Director of Sports Medicine
Dustan Thrift has been practicing as a licensed athletic trainer since 2005. He graduated form Southern Methodist University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and the University of Arkansas graduating with a Masters of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Dustan is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and licensed to practice Athletic Training in the state of Texas (LAT). He also has his Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification (CES). Dustan spent 12 years working as an athletic trainer at Texas A&M – Commerce. As the Director of Sports Medicine with the Lions he won a NCAA Division II National Title with Football (2017) and him and his staff were named the 2019 – 2020 Lone Star Conference Sports Medicine Staff of the year. He has an attitude that always puts the athletes/patients first and believes each individual matters. He truly enjoys helping and watching fellow Athletic Trainers provide excellent health care. Dustan has been working alongside Kinetix Fitness and Sports Medicine since 2014. In 2020 Dustan joined as the Director of Athletic Training Services.
Jackie Fisher, LAT, ATC
Secondary School Outreach Coordinator
Jackie Fisher has practiced as a licensed Athletic Trainer since 2009 and has been working with Kinetix Fitness & Sports Medicine since 2014. She graduated from Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training & Health. Jackie is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and licensed in Texas to practice Athletic Training (LAT). She began her career working with Tim creating a Sports Medicine Outreach program for Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in 2012. She has worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the NBA G-League Team, the Texas Legends, for six years and spent a season in China working with the China Basketball Association. Jackie is fully dedicated to the prevention and care for all athletes at Kinetix Fitness & Sports Medicine.
Kelsey Sims, CPT
Fitness Director/Community Outreach Coordinator
Kelsey Sims has been a certified Personal Trainer since early 2020. She began her fitness journey in 2013. Her personal struggle with living a healthy lifestyle encouraged her to pursue changes that would lead her to turn her struggles into success. In 2014 she began training with Tim and learned about proper nutrition and fitness. After seeing her own results she realized that if she could make these changes for herself, that she could encourage others to do the same. Kelsey began working with her own clients in 2020. She aspires to be more than just a trainer. She believes in encouraging her clients through motivation and accountability. Kelsey knows that with dedication and hard work, her clients become the best version of themselves.
